The Orientation Programmes (OPs)have been designed by the Transition Support Team to prepare the Brothers who have volunteered to become members of the cluster of communities that were established in Western Province in December 2015 and in India in December 2017 . The Orientation Program lasts fourteen weeks, beginning. Another OP is planned for the Gambia, and this begins on 17 September, 2017.
The program contains a wide variety of topics to cover the various aspects of the life of the new communities. The main areas of the OP could be summarised under the categories of:
- Personal development
- Religious Life
While the OP in Zambia also included elements of community engagement and project cycle management, the OP in India and Ghana focused on the above three areas, leaving the elements to prepared Brothers for ministry to the Advanced Skills Training that followed on from the OP.
